Sensational Salads! Hands-On!

Spring finally here, summer is right around the corner, and this isn't your typical salad class! These loaded salads are diverse and ramped up with seafood, steak and chicken! This is a hands on class, pairing up into teams, creating sensational salads, perfect for every meal! Lead by Chef Tara, students will work in pairs to complete the menu and have a chance to enjoy a family style lunch, sharing all the sensational salads. Presentation, storing, and knife skills will be shown, along with a twist to each menu item, making it a multi-purpose meal. Recipes to all salads included. Menu- *Avocado Shrimp Salad with tomatoes, red peppers, shrimp, avocado, cucumbers, green onion and a garlic cilantro vinaigrette. *Chopped Thai Chicken Salad with rotisserie chicken, greens including romaine, & cabbage, carrots, mango, green onion, cashews and a tangy Asian dressing. *Laden Romaine & Brussels Sprouts Cesar Salad with romaine, seared brussels sprouts, bacon, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved parmesan, homemade croutons & creamy homemade Cesar dressing. *Steak Salad with Creamy Balsamic dressing, shredded lettuces and veggies! *BLT Chopped Salad with corn, avocado, peppers, tomatoes, feta, a zesty lime vinaigrette!
